Stevie Gee in the place to be!
For our re-brand we teamed up with the infamous illustrator Stevie Gee. We first discovered Stevie through his work for Deus Ex Machina and fell in love with his wild and crazy hand drawn style. Stevie's killing it right now having picked up more D&AD yellow pencils than he knows what to do with. Pretty sure I saw him sharpening one the other day when running low on supplies!

As well as being a great aesthetic fit for our new identity, we also felt a spiritual connection with him as a fellow surfer and skateboarder which made working together all the more rewarding for both parties.
It is always fun and challenging being the client for once and seeing things from the other side of the table, so we tried to behave ourselves and through solid briefs and a tight collab he blew us away with his designs at every stage.
Stevie created our new logo, the surfer illustration on the homepage (we animated it) and our sleepy surfboard dude you’ll find lazying about the site. He also drew some typographic elements and a number of other cheeky little embellishments.
