We are excited to announce that we have been appointed to design and build the website for Mistral, a name synonymous with Windsurfing and one of the oldest manufacturers, founded in 1976.
Born out of a passion for wind and water
This is a particular coup for Superrb, as we are based on Hayling Island, which is hotly debated as the original birthplace of Windsurfing, so a project very close to our hearts.
Mistral were huge in the 1980s when their vibrant coloured sails and iconic red dot logo, could be found on beaches across the world. In recent years the brand has diversified to become a market leader in stand up paddle-boarding (SUP), as well as producing lifestyle goods, apparel and technical clothing for water sport enthusiasts.
This new project seeks to take the brand back to it’s roots, focusing on what made the company such a phenomenon and inspiration for so many across the world as a champion of lifestyles based on Water Life and Living.
The new website will be launching in early 2015 and will include an online store retailing select items and will feature some amazing archive footage and lookbooks from it’s early days.
